Sounds like a reason to just watch regular TV to me.

It's eternally crazy to me that people tolerate advertising, it's just something I've never been able to wrap my head around. It's like someone telling me they don't mind peeing their pants or support israel or something, it's just like, I understand the words you are saying but I cannot put myself into a position where they make sense. You have a finite amount of time on earth, why would you waste any of it watching ads?

Their Roku app is all but unusable because of the ads. I just download the videos I want to watch and stream via Plex. I won’t pay them a penny due to their insanely unfriendly behavior. You can guarantee these ads will appear more and more on paid subscriptions in the future.

The only solutions to anyone now are ad-blockers (that work) and premium. I still don't see the latter being successful, especially outside the US.

It does blow my mind that advertisers pay to show ads and I pay to not show ads. That my friends is a Business Model.
