Hate to have to be that guy, but, ACKSHULLY, you already do launch the missiles in Missile Command. That's literally the entire game, in fact, launching missiles to intercept other missiles.

Neat concept. I managed to get to level 5 on a tablet. Simple games are often the most enjoyable.

Genuinely fun. I played through twice.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missile_Command#Development ... Theurer put two conditions to his work: neither the attacking nor defending states would be named, and the game would be purely defensive and never put players in situations where they would be the aggressor. ... Players would also not be able to retaliate, as that would be a scenario of mutual assured destruction, which Theurer didn't find noble: "I did not want to put the player in a position of being a genocidal maniac. Only a crazy person would sling nuclear weapons without context, right?".[9] ... The only possible game outcome of total destruction was also a message on the futility of war.
