> Anthropic is a Delaware public benefit corporation with a Long-Term Benefit Trust. Press reports indicate that Anthropic intends to adopt a governance structure that may give founders and trustees concentrated control of the company. A gap between control and accountability is especially concerning for investors given the unprecedented risks the company has already acknowledged. Interesting, perhaps Altman and Dario don't mind the sovereign wealth fund ideas because they have no intention for the public ownership to have any say in governance, just a cost of doing business. If however, Ai is going to have the scale of impacts across all people and society Anthropic themselves claim, we the people should very much have say in how it is developed, deployed, and managed through mega corps.
