It’s very wild to me that such a large part of the population was willing to throw themselves into a relationship with AI without question. Maybe that says a lot about society and where we are heading. I’ll stick with my local LLM that’s slow but handles my simple requests from time to time.

This website is so depressing. It does not feel like there is a reasonable way to alter this course. The cat is out of the bag and our population is not mentally capable of fending it off.

I take some comfort from the one that says "as a Christian, I have been talking to AI about my problems instead of finding time for God" - goes to show we've been very nutty for a long time, and actually - compared to taking advice from magic sky man, talking to an AI is downright rational.
