I don't think the Twitter trademark can be considered to be abandoned if the name used to replace is so bad that everyone still calls it Twitter.

From what people have found, the site is heavily likely to be vibe-coded, has a lot of security issues, and does many of the same things people complain about Twitter doing (using your content to train AI models for example). https://x.com/Patrosi73/status/2093079851393524087 Now, this may have fixed the last time the site was taken down. But it seems pretty clear the folks running this have no idea what they're doing, tech or otherwise.
