Roughly same cost as first week of his war so Congress should seize it and put it back in the treasury QatarForceOne will also have to be sold, they stole a BILLION from nuclear missile maintenance to refurbish it!

The fee isn’t being paid to the “Trump administration.” It’s being paid to the U.S. Treasury: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-administration-set-rece... (“Sources familiar with the matter indicate that the Treasury received an initial $2.5 billion payment upon the deal’s closing in January, with the remainder to be paid in installments until the $10 billion threshold is met.”). Exaggerating straightforward facts to maximize clicks for every story undermines the other reporting of the plenty of sketchy things the administration is actually doing.

Not a fan of Trump administration in general, but I do like how he is extracting concessions from large corporations (this, Intel deal, etc) for the benefit of US Treasury.
