I was taught, at a young age, that "sex sells," and to be wary of the car/beer/luxury good advertisements featuring scantily clad models. I was taught that women have value beyond their sex appeal and to associate with people whose beauty is more than skin deep. I feel as though I've known my entire life that this sort of vapid content is an obvious trap. How stupid are conservatives? How have we failed them?
