This received no attention previously ( https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47347057 ), and I don’t know why. Maybe it is because Anthropic themselves have not been marketing this much. I wonder why that is. Regardless, this is an important effort. With rising unemployment and a future where the rich individuals and companies become a permanent ruling class, we will need a redesign of how our society works.
