I use Claude at work and burn tokens at a regular rate on a huge monorepo. If I'm using heavy skills, these burn up pretty quickly. At home, I have a pretty simple project and pay $20 for Deepseek which has lasted me more than 2 weeks with pretty heavy usage. I know my cost at work is something like $500-$1000+ per month, and I have found negligible difference with a $20 Deepseek usage based pricing.
