The entire space business, never mind SpaceX, is mostly a prestige product for nation states with some science and engineering spinoff benefits. It's not going to create trillions of dollars of value. And yet, somehow, the idea that "this time it's different" tricks enough people. There's a big difference between accepting that space exploration and the development of space tech technologies isn't always profitable, and letting yourself get fooled by bullshit data centers in space. I don't care that space manufacturing is never going to pay for the cost of ISS. But be real about that fact.
