What exactly is this doing? Expiry notifications are offered by pretty much every registry already? Nameserver management also confuses me. Is this centralizing DNS from all providers or just the NS records?

My guess is the author uses a terrible and abusive registrar and isn’t aware that not all registrars are terrible and abusive.

Porkbun early auto renew (45 days if I'm not mistaken) works better instead, and various domain name providers should have similar features.
