Maybe it's a good thing in principle that AI is exposing a split between people who do and don't care about the outcome of the work they do. But despite that it's probably going to end up doing more net harm than good in practice.

I guess it makes sense, since both Trump and these business leaders think they rule the world and can do whatever they want. Renaming a country seems a minor thing in the grand scheme of things. Of course, now they also need to rename Lake Amorica, Gulf of Amorica, The Fédération Internationale de Trump Association (FITA) and so on.

Who cares? Minor spelling mistakes rank very low on my list of grievances with the administration.
