is the accusation here that the US is not loyal? or that they have breached a treaty, contract or even an explicit promise? if so which precisely?

They’re no different to China really, China will steal your IP and outcompete you on industrial efficiency, America transfers your IP and threatens you with invasion. It has the same effect ultimately, all your smart people leave and all of your industry is crushed.

The USA is not Elon Musk. I would never trust Elon Musk. He is a selfish conman. I still cannot she how people fall for his bullshit and respect him. He has done nothing to benefit humanity, only his bank account. Unfortunately the deplorable Donald Trump is President and who is also a conman that only wishes to better his bank account. His atrocities against humanity are innumerable. Such individuals do not deserve any respect or recognition for harming the civilized world. This is why I cheer for the EU and other nations walking away from the USA. It is renewed competition for humanity versus pure profit.
