TFNA

This is a rather romanticised view of the American road trip. For example, he praises a diner's biscuits that are supposedly a family recipe, but a substantial amount of American diners now source all their ingredients from Sysco and so one simply won't get to enjoy anything authentically local in many eateries. Indeed, on a long road trip one can eventually become well acquainted with Sysco's products after eating them day after day. I dunno, I'd say a lot of things can be boring in America.
