Whether this is true or not, I think someone making the claim is good news. People trust digital forensic evidence more than they should. Some FUD is a useful corrective. If you're up to no good, buy an iPhone and badmouth Bibi on social media.

Is he claiming to plant false evidence, or just that smartphones are a great tool for social manipulation? I would believe both are the case, but it's just that "penetrate" could be ambiguous in the sense that getting propaganda in front of people's eyes could be considered a kind of penetration.
