They should really put the video/gif from their repo README on the website somewhere. I clicked around for a while trying to see what it looked like and finally found it on Github.

Haven't seen this in a while and had a look at the lazygit repository on GitHub and the README is just quite literally unreadable since I last looked at it. The README is now full of ads, lots of nonsense on the page just to reach the text and on top of that, it is now written by Claude. So right now Lazygit has become by definition slop. yeah the site is pretty but i had the same issue, no demo until i opened the github readme. a short gif on the homepage would fix that

It honestly makes working with git so easy and fast that I would say it's the ideal way to interact with git. I highly recommend checking it out for a month if you're someone who would use git commands in the shell. I don't know how fast and visually clear the gui interfaces like the ones built into VS Code or Sublime Merge are but as someone who uses a terminal test editor having a tool like this has been fantastic.

So this is a landing page made by someone who doesn’t maintain the actual tool? This strikes me as a potential scam—build some domain rep off someone else’s tool then capitalize somehow
