so how were the api keys leaked?? as result of the breach? or did they leak them themselves and they were found and then used to breach?

all lower case and bad grammar doesn’t instill confidence

The all lowercase writing is extremely obnoxious.

Whatever happened to the use of good grammar and spelling? Is the fad nowadays just to not bother with good grammar/capitalization? This isn't the only HN submission I've seen that does this and I don't understand why, and it's really, really annoying to read since everything just runs together when my screen reader reads it. Example: the first paragraph under "what happened" reads like this to me: "on october 24, an unauthorized party used a compromised kernel api key to probe for access on october 27, the same party used the compromised key to gain access to a staff login to our logging provider the unauthorized party accessed and downloaded data from this logging provider data contained a small number of kernel api keys and app deployments’ third-party secrets"
