Why are so many flights out of Albuquerque NM, it’s more than all the flights out of Texas combined. It also seems like places like Guatemala and Honduras get more than one flight per day.

Interesting that the total removal flights have not really gone up by much compared with the rhetoric coming out of the Trump administration.

Evil as ICE no doubt is, I think the framing as "shuffles" to separate families and undermine due process as the intention is likely wrong even if that's a side-effect. If you had to fill 20 flights going to various countries you'd quickly realizing that the people going to say India are all over the place. So what do you do? You run a hub and spoke model just like airlines do. And that's exactly what the data shows...a low number of specific airports with large number of intl outbound removals...and tons of country internal transfers. Hub and Spoke.
