This whole idea that US can force a Taiwanese company to not manufacture a Chinese design using its Dutch technology feels just wrong. So despite not being a fan of Huawei in general, I am kind of rooting for them in this fight. At the same time, I suspect the success of their homegrown manufacturing process has been highly exaggerated to put pressure on the other parties. But I guess that is just part of the game.
