> Hacker News is owned by Y Combinator, an American venture capital firm heavily invested in surveillance tech. Their moderators have time to remove our posts for copy-pasting small amounts of text but not to remove years of libel and harassment. Perhaps it's time for legal action. I'd like to hear more about this story.

The flagging mechanism on HN has become just another censorship tool. It was never designed for times of social upheaval and disagreement. Let's say a billionaire is reading HN and they repeatedly flag something they are at ideological war with. What's Dang gonna do? Sit down with them over coffee to tell them nah? It's literally lethal to go against these guys. This is the billionaire's clubhouse and it always has been. The floor is riddled with trap doors and beneath them is lava

Weirdly, I've experienced a notable uptick in Graphene-related posts over the last couple of weeks. So is the flagging not hiding the posts for me (and those I've seen comment on them), or are there many other posts I'm not seeing?
