What use is cabin luggage when for the cheaper tickets you are inevitably pressured to check it? This happens to me most of the time on short haul flights in Europe. They basically sell higher priced tickets with two items of cabin luggage and the lower price tier effectively turns into zero items.

Maybe I’m reading the article wrong but if now you can opt out of cabin luggage for a cheaper price… what changed? I mean that’s the case already for Ryanair and co. Want bags? Pay more.
