Emacs is so bad It has zero intuitive key bindings. Also i swear that ctrl/tab/shift/alt should be kinda mapped opposite. This editor should be used only with Space-cadet keyboard from 70,80.... Seriously - learning 6502 assembly is easier than to graap those INSANELY bad keyboard layout.

I'm a life long vim user, and I love Emacs w/evil mode. There's something about hacking in elisp on the editor that you're using to do the hacking, that just makes me fall in love with programming again. I'm not joking when I say this, but one of the activities I look forward to when I'm retired is hacking on Emacs. Thanks to those who continue to make these Emacs releases happen.
