Good. France has no business interfering with the world's DNS resolvers in the name of piracy i.e. making media companies richer and ironically shooting them in the foot by crippling the CDNs they rely on

If you really think about it a DNS service is simply a relay and a cache gathered from the decentralized nameserver cluster. If debrid services can stream actual copyrighted works without getting into trouble because they're simply a downloader (and cache), surely a dns resolver would be put into the same bucket?

The person behind this legal warfare is the beIN Sports chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi. He is also president of Paris Saint-Germain and chairman of Qatar Sports Investment. He is, obviously, not French. His self-claimed annual income was about $15–25 million, and his personal wealth was about $70–100 million.
