It slows to a stop.

Front tire just pulls one way or another; you don’t even have to be a decent driver to deal with it. Rear tire would be more impressive, it’ll try to fishtail.

The headline is the story: A $10000 price tag for a ~200mi EV is more impressive than the blown tire story.

Does it matter? It's like saying "we fireproofed 1 of 200 apartments in a building" ... well great, but you still can't sell that building until you fireproof the other 199. Same issue here: no one in America can even buy these things (practically-speaking), let alone drive them legally in US streets until China starts building them to conform to US safety standards. Until that happens, we're just seeing nifty demos of impressively cheap cars ... that are also (subtly) very dangerous.

Not realistic, a tire blow is not the same as tire air out, within seconds, the rubber part is gone and you are left on the rim only, it’s when the real problem starts.

Nifty, I’d still buy a European EV though, to support local businesses.
