The rhetoric here around this stuff all feels pretty pointless. It’s very obvious to see what happened here. The dictatorship wanted to weaponize Anthropic’s ai at a frightening scale, and Anthropic said no. OpenAI said yes. All the discussion around what is lawful is pretty irrelevant since this administration completely ignores what is lawful anyway.
